A Dream Come True
Last weekend I visited my good friends Victoria and Cameron Knight at Swamptown Kennels in Swansea, SC, partially to pick up a puppy and partially to shoot a session with them documenting their recent success at the South Carolina Foxhunter's Association annual state 3-day hunt.
To kick the weekend off, Victoria and her nice female Redken (Caughman's Redman II x Ch. Victoria's Maybelline) were crowned the SC State bench champions. Redken is the quintessential show dog, and was super easy to pose and photograph during our session. I enjoyed finding ways to highlight her nice conformation for Victoria. Redken also went on to finish 4th HGA in the hunt, making her a dual champion as well.
Inspired by a recent shoot I did with my own dogs, I was looking forward to capturing some candid shots to highlight the love between Victoria and her hound. I was able to get several that we both loved!
Cameron and Victoria's great weekend was polished off with Swamptown's Ringette being crowned the 2020 SC State field champion. I'm so happy for my friends' success, and glad that I could provide them with some images to commemorate this occasion!
