FAQ
Do you charge for travel?
Travel is included within 50 miles of Ridgeville, SC. If I travel to you beyond that, mileage will be $0.52 per mile. I do travel often for work and to attend hunts, so if your shoot aligns with one of those occasions there will be no mileage charge. I typically service the Charleston, Summerville, and Columbia areas regularly.
Can I purchase additional products?
Of course! We also offer a full range of wall art, from standard prints, to brilliant metals, to classic albums and canvases. I have several packages available to add onto your session if you're interested in wall art or albums.
What do I need to pay up-front?
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your session date, and is paid upon booking. This goes toward the price of your selected package. The remainder of your selected package price needs to be paid in full by the date of the shoot, but payment plans are available to make things a little more affordable up to that day. Additional prints or digitals ordered after the day of the shoot must be paid in full upon ordering.
What if my dog doesn't behave?
The quality of your photos depends in part on the behavior of your dog. If you have a particularly high strung dog, I suggest booking on a day that he will have hunted or been thoroughly exercised prior. However...please don't think that you must have a perfectly trained dog to capture great images! We can work through some energy!
Do I have to order prints through you?
The print release gives you the authority to print your digital images wherever you like. However, in the case of wall art size prints or canvases, I suggest ordering through me so that your order will be processed by a professional lab. This ensures color quality and correct cropping for the size of the print...the difference between a Walgreens print and a professional lab print is astonishing!
I always refer clients to Mpix if you are printing on your own.
