FAQ
How do I get ready for a black background session?
Details matter in black background portraits, so I strongly recommend braiding or banding your horse like you would for a show. Clipping, face, and hoof polish is also encouraged. Don't forget to clean your bridle or halter! For horses photographed in an English bridle, please remove the reins and clip on a lead rope instead.
Do you have tips for preparing for a horse & rider session?
Yes! Please arrive early enough before your session to lunge your horse before you finish grooming him (I recommend grooming like it's show day).
After your horse is ready to go, touch up your hair/makeup and get into your first outfit! Have additional outfits laid out so you can change quickly.
Don't worry-we're in this together, and we will plan everything to a "T" ahead of time.
Do you offer payment plans? When will we get our photos?
I do offer payment plans, but the total due for your session must be paid by the date of the shoot. Contact me if you'd like to set up a payment plan.
You'll receive your images within 3 weeks of your shoot date.
Do you offer wall art, prints, & albums?
Yes, I do! I have packages for wall art and albums that you can add on to your chosen session, and you can also order prints and wall art directly from your online gallery.
What areas do you service?
I'm a South Carolina equine photographer that serves all areas of the state including Charleston, Columbia, Florence, and Greenville. There are no travel fees for clients within 40 miles of Ridgeville, SC. Beyond this area a travel fee of .52 cents per mile will be assessed unless I'm meeting multiple clients in the area on that day.
I also travel to Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee on occasion!
